Natural landscape - Modern design that blends in with the landscape

Welcome back to Facades World, in today's delivery we will share a modern minimalist house design which has a peculiarity, and that is that as we can appreciate, the natural landscape around it is completely confused with its construction. Let's stop all the chatter and let's get started… here we go!

Modern minimalist house design - Natural landscape

We all know that having a natural landscape that can flood even more beauty around our home is always something priceless. That's why today we share an attraction exemplary that complements the landscape until the construction almost disappeared. It is a modern house built recently by Proarh, manufactured in concrete.

Designed for family retreats and built on the slopes of the island of Vis in Croatia, the design of the house reinterprets the ancient dry stone walls, creating a new rural image but this time made by man using simple construction technologies.

A residential space was created between the sections of the space forming walls, like an artificial grotto, which resembles a primitive shelter. Covering the roof and the terraces of the house there is a green roof with a mix of plants and local rocks, the fact of using local plants allows this kind of garden to always remain beautiful.

The design of the house consists of two levels, with living room on the first floor. A large eaves provide shade and shelter for the interior. Also on the first floor are the bedrooms that take advantage of the views of the water through large windows. On the ground floor there is a dining room y kitchen open style

Country Houses - A Completely Renovated Cottage in China

We return in Facades World to share a new copy, on the day of the date it is the turn of the renovation of a cabin in China. Are they going to miss it? We imagine not ... we started!

Country Houses - renovated cottage in China

Today we will show you through this new article to how to integrate modern decoration into vintage rural houses. That is why this project carried out by a fashion designer called Sun Min and the architect Christian Taeubert will be of great help if you are wondering how they can do it in their respective homes.

This renovated rural cottage It measures 76 square meters and was built in the 1970 decade, but had collapsed perimeter walls and lands covered with vegetation. We can appreciate how he keeps many of his original rustic features, like the original wooden beams and ceiling, which are next to the modern additions, such as the large sliding glass doors.

The cabin was renovated with a open plan design and the use mainly of locally sourced materials. The central space is occupied by a living room with a wood stove, a kitchen and a dining room and a small sleeping space on a raised platform at the other end. A master bedroom and bathroom are located at the other end of the house behind a stainless steel partition.

Within the ultramodern furniture we can find: wire chairs, stainless steel kitchen cabinets, and benches and wooden seats to soften the appearance of stone and metal.
