Remodeling of a building and offices in Madrid - Modern and colorful interior design
When those in charge of this project received the request to rehabilitate the aspect of building, instead of simply transforming the spaces, they valued and maintained the original elements and made them look to the future. Thus they achieved a modern interior design, and a completely remodeled exterior.
El old industrial building, original structure, was characterized by a concrete structure of pillars and beams, terrazzo floors, a granite lobby and a limestone facade totally stunning. Seeing all this, the project managers decided to recover these mentioned elements and leave them in sight, thus highlighting the original characteristics of the construction and giving them value. The next step was to animate the interior spaces by applying the joy of color.
That was how, inspired by the yellow color, the interior design of the building was invaded by this color. The original terrazzo floors They were respected to give them courage again. The yellow accompanies visitors and workers from the entrance, through elevators and stairs to reach each of the oficinas. Finally we are left with the following phrase to culminate with this spectacular rehabilitation: Rehabilitation means working with the history of the inherited from the past and simply making it look to the future ... That requires looking back with love but without nostalgia.
