Today Facades World we bring you one small and modern house with which they will feel identified and surely they will be able to take many but many ideas for remodeling, interior ideas, and of course, to evaluate the plans of this simple but contemporary construction.
This small work, located in Brooklyn, United States, has been remodeled in the 2017 year in a narrow lot of 3,4 meters wide. The original 2 floor and 305 m2 house was fully restored and extended by adding a master suite upstairs and by digging a modern rear lobby below, resulting in a four-story house.
This narrow section is classified perfectly as the facade of a nice and simple house, and consists of bricks and steel joinery. It also incorporates wide openings that allow access to natural light.
If what they are looking for are photos of facades of small houses, the copy of the day of the date will be of great help for your respective work, giving a modern touch to future constructions that you have in mind. Then, finishing the referred to the front of the house, you can see two more images: an aerial of the back garden and another of the new terrace.
Modern interior design for small houses
In this work we will find a functional interior design, since I create an effective but austere use of space since every centimeter was important. The precise position of walls, doors and windows was crucial as each floor was planned to fulfill a purpose. The subfloor serves as a new entrance, storage, laundry and mechanical area; the first floor is a continuous public space with living room, dining room, kitchen and library that overlooks gardens in the front and back; the second contains two bedrooms for children together with a bathroom with 2 sinks; while the highest level contains the master suite with a sleeping area, bathroom, balcony and terrace.
Plans of modern housing
A thin steel ladder repositioned in the middle of the south side connects the house vertically and attracts more light, air and views to the interior of the building. The materials throughout the house are modest, natural and unpretentious: the rawness of the unfinished steel and the character of the walnut wood are juxtaposed with the simple refinement of the marble and the matt ceramic tiles.
