A modern project of the year 2016 by the architects Constantino Trebucq, Josefina Trebucq, Milagros Sirena and Mateo Del Boca, who were able to carry out a large construction on a small plot that not only gives comfort to its inhabitants, but also combines perfectly with the environment of the city.

The reduced dimensions of ground with just 5.40m front and 23m long, in the center of the city of córdoba, demanded the maximum use of the architectural program, to achieve a vanguard building type housing.

East building of 3 flats, has 6 departments of 45 m2, pb for commercial use and a terrace area, semi-public. It was decided on a free plan structural system for each of the departments, due to this, the possibility of generating flexible spaces for a mixed-use typology.

We will find a facade of modern building and very versatile, composed of sheets of micro-perforated sheet metal, folded together (you can see it in the images). The materials and colors selected, together with the enormous influx of natural light, create spaces of a particular energy and provide greater warmth to each of the homes that make up this modern construction.

Construction and plans of a square house, a modern facade and spacious interiors that will captivate you

Modern mountain house with stunning views of the city

Welcome back to Facades World, on the day of the date we will analyze a beautiful Three bedroom house with city views which has been modernized maintaining its structure and combination of wood, metal and concrete. Next, we start with this project of Gilbert Colyn which was renovated by SAOTA.

This modern style house located in the mountain keeps an interesting history from its initial construction, was originally designed for the same architect Colyn over forty years ago, and in 2017 has been renovated by Saota, who with great subtlety and respecting the original design line, has achieved grant him a modern and avant-garde air to the design

In its design, we will find a facade with large glazed bays which makes the exterior connect with the interior and having a privileged view towards the forest and the city located in front of the mountain.

It has managed to harmonize materials such as wood and concrete applied both indoors and outdoors; open spaces are observed to the interior with the minimum use of dividing walls so the feeling is of complete integration with the nature that surrounds it.

Two-story house with designed origami-type roof that withstands intense climates

Materials for construction, we show you some innovative specimens

Synthetic tiles

In terms of cost, building a wall with Durabric is 20% cheaper than with fired clay bricks.

This ecological alternative does not release CO2 in its production and is cheaper, since it comes from natural resources. The Biomason brick is created at room temperature, feeding the microorganisms with materials such as sand and generating conditions in which they begin to produce crystals until, finally, they give rise to a brick.

The MGA architecture studio and DVVD engineering have developed massive wooden panels, which can be up to 2,40 x 20 meters and in various thicknesses, and can be used directly as structural material. This bio-concrete has already been successfully tested at a lifeguard station in the Netherlands.

Residence located in the Golf Club, Los Lagos in Hermosillo, Sonora. The original concept was to integrate the house with the nature's own environment, the green areas and the lake that can be seen from the inside and spectacular terraces.

It was designed by the Architect Juan Manuel Gamiz Herrera in conjunction with another architectural firm that was responsible for the construction and supervision of it.
