Casa Híbrida: we show how, through a renovation, it becomes a modern two-story house

On the day of the date, we will analyze a very peculiar design both in Façade and in plans, in the case of a remodeled house which changed drastically when the old design of the front part was perpetuated and added a completely new twist with the culmination and creation of a second floor, thus drastically renewing the style but preserving the harmony of this hybrid housing.

In case you do not have knowledge, we tell you that the hybrid constructions convert the sun into alternating current to run all the utilities of the house. When we encounter cloudy or snowy days, a generator that runs on bio-fuel ensures continuous power supply.

This class of housing is intended to be completely independent of the local electrical network. By manipulating its surface for maximum solar exposure and the use of a group of ultra-fine batteries implemented at the base of the slabs.

In the front part of the plot we see how the original facade, which is one level. However, if we go a little deeper into the terrain, we can see how the construction rises in the middle of the house, giving shape to the second level, located as we already mentioned, in the interior part of the land.

Going a bit into the part of the plans, we can see a living room - dining room on the first level, three bedrooms, and finally a terrace with a pool. As we will observe below, in the foreground there is a linear circulation from the main entrance (center left), which despite not being typical, can work perfectly on the routes.

In the second floor plan we will find a second living room with balcony, a bedroom and bathroom. We can appreciate in this plane, that the construction of the second level is one third of the total of the house; Beyond that, this striking remodeling has radically changed the profile of the house, turning it into a ultra modern construction.

Small house of three floors, we know a modern interior and a facade with sheets of recycled wood.

On the day of the date we bring you a new somewhat peculiar information post. We say peculiar because it is a sustainable style house, in which we will find particularities such as a very modern interior, a facade armed entirely with sheets of recycled wood, and as if this were not enough, three separate floors in an impeccable manner for each space inside the house.

This little one three floors house, it should include in its requirements a reduction of 70% of water, an 90% of use of recycled or certified materials, besides obviously having a unique quality of air inside.

Facade with recycled wood slats - daylight

In order to meet this requirement, it was proposed to carry out a façade with recycled wood sheets, generating unanimity in the style, also placed photovoltaic panels on the roof and small windows, a key point to maintain a warm interior without losing air.

Inside, working night and day with the aim of purging the hot air and only leave room for fresh and clean air, we will find the use of the Zehnder ventilation system, which not only achieves the mentioned objective, but at the same time manages to maintain a pleasant temperature all year round.

In order to reach a «Green construction», the project architect proposed the use of a hot water heat pump, with which in this way, it could provide both hot water and heating floor or underfloor heating.

The same wood proposed for the façade was also used inside. As we can see in one of its bedrooms and different interior spaces of this house, its distribution presents modern spaces and it resembles a unique visual amplitude, contributing in the same way to the aforementioned green construction.

The doors and windows offer wooden frames that serve as a waterproof and watertight seal to air leaks and sound of the city, thus guaranteeing the comfort of its occupants.

Next, as usual in Facades World, we will leave you more images so that you can enjoy this beautiful home, and in addition, we will also offer you the plans of this one. So, you can get a clearer idea of what this small house made of recycled wood, and why not, use it as an example for possible remodeling or remodeling in their own homes.

Sustainable Construction: Sustainable Architecture. Knowing the eco-construction ...

If we internalize a little in this new topic, we will see that the Sustainable Architecture It would not make sense without a sustainable construction, which we can say is based on a series of necessary principles so that the result can respond to their demands.

One of the most important rules within the Eco Construction It is referred to the size. Beyond the fact that a small construction would require less materials, and therefore the environmental impact would be less, other factors such as carbon footprint, durability, landscape impact, materials or functionality will also influence it. bioclimatic design. We are starting with the copies so you can see what we mean ...

construction-sustainable-architecture-sustainable-knowing-the-eco-construction-1

The approach that a sustainable construction, it must be conformed by the famous rule of the three erres, being able to "reduce", "reuse" and "recycle" each of the things used for such construction. For this, it is always good to have the advice of professionals specialized in this field, not only to architects, but also to those who regularly resort to sustainable projects.

Another point to keep in mind is the choice of land in which we want to build our home, and the Construction materials so that it is durable. Based on that, below we will show you some unique samples, which we hope you can help them by broadening their views regarding building and sustainability.

construction-sustainable-architecture-sustainable-knowing-the-eco-construction-2

For the eco materials fulfill their function within the construction and this is sustainable, we must make all the pieces of the puzzle fit together: performance of green energies, taking advantage of the weather conditions that we find ourselves, isolation, passive systems, etc ... only to avoid wasting money in the future to solve problems or unforeseen events, but also to achieve the main objective, a sustainable construction.

On the other hand, the well-being and comfort of the people who live in this construction is also very important, which does not have to be incompatible with the sustainability of housing or with any other type of construction.

Although the costs of the materials that can be implemented in the building may be higher, it is also true that long-term energy savings, they represent a saving that sincerely is worth the investment. Being able to be installed renewable energy systems to allow us to supply and a series of practices that manage to reduce energy losses, over time the architectural and energy sustainability, result in a significant overall savings if you give up a good quality of life.

Use of Stone in Modern Facades

When our house has a facade that includes stone As a construction and protection element, it is not only a positive point when it comes to protecting our home against some natural elements such as rain, hail or sun, but it also gives a very warm image to the whole.

In addition to this, a suitable placement will make our housing stand out from the rest within our neighborhood, also having an added bonus since requires little maintenance.

Use of Wood on the exterior floor and Dark Stone Blocks on all walls
Use of Wood on the exterior floor and Dark Stone Blocks on all walls

When designing a modern house, surely one of the first ideas that cross our minds will be the use of glass and metal, or concrete; but what perhaps we sometimes overlook, is that this kind of coating (stone) used properly, achieve an incredible warmth in the final design.

Let us think that, above all, the combination of stone and wood it makes the houses highlight some of the parts of its structure, and that, thanks to the roughness in the texture of the stone, adds a lot of character to the architectural construction.

Combining materials used in avant-garde constructions As for example steel in its natural color, architects sometimes design stone facades in modern houses. As we can see in the images, the aforementioned materials must be placed properly in order to achieve the desired effect, bearing in mind that a bad choice between the texture of the stone, the chosen colors and other materials, can give a counterproductive result .

We will also see the use of one, two and four-sided roofs. In many of them we will find materials such as wood for the borders or finishes on the roofs or ceilings, and of course, the predominant material, brick. These homes, located in the North Zone of Buenos Aires, have a varied climate depending on the season of the year, being able to find winds or rains, and on the contrary a radiant sun and a lot of heat. Prefabricated and Economic Functional House.

We present a modern house which deserves to be highlighted, since its cost is lower compared to other styles and qualities. Therefore, it has the advantage of having a faster construction and greater functionality. It optimizes the interior spaces because it is built based on the needs of the inhabitants. This prefabricated house has two modules of steel chassis.

Being a premade house Modular flat roof can be moved to the desired terrain, a very important point nowadays. It is mainly suitable for small spaces and within the city. It has a flat roof and a floor. Inside we can find a kitchen, dining room, bathroom and two bedrooms, and if desired, you can also add a terrace optionally.

                        Modern facade with straight lines

At its facade you can appreciate the architectural design of straight lines, simple, aesthetic and current appearance. The entrance door was made of plated steel enamelled in white and inside it has interior doors in smooth pine and stainless steel cranks. We can see that the main window is wide and the doors are of less height than the conventional.

The windows are not necessarily very big because the space is reduced and in this case the environment can be easily illuminated. Of course in the modern style we will not find ornaments, highlighting the simple forms contrasted with the blank space thanks to the painting of the walls.

We can enjoy a bedroom full of lighting and repeated use of white to simulate a larger space. And also, we will highlight the floor in floating floor Oak. In the bathroom we find the white enamelled toilets with some contrasts in dark tones. In the living room we find the white walls, the lighting and the decoration in dark contrasting tones. As we said before, the design basically obeys functional criteria, that is, the house is projected from the inside out.

One aspect about structure of modern houses is that they do not hide their materials since the structure is independent of the covers. We leave the rest of the images so they can enjoy them and of course use them as an example for updates in their respective homes.
