Wooden kitchens: find the one you like the most to remodel your home

Wood kitchens gained huge popularity in the 1980s, and since then wood has continued to be used in virtually every kitchen in the world. This is because this material is very versatile, resistant and durable. Today in Facades World we will show you different designs of wooden kitchens so that you can select the one you like the most and implement it in your home.

wooden kitchens

Kitchen furniture made of wood adapts to all styles of decoration and design, whether it is a modern house or a rustic country house. Whether using elegant mahogany wood or old reclaimed wood, the effect is the same: a warm and welcoming space you will never want to leave. The classic and attractive appearance of wood is not the only benefit. This noble material will probably last for many years, so pay close attention to these designs of wooden kitchens what we have for you

wooden kitchens

Modern wooden kitchens

Natural materials and warm finishes are one of the trends in modern kitchens by 2022. Thanks in part to the popularity of the Minimalism, one of the ways we see this trend of using natural materials, is in simple wooden cabinets, without decorations. The minimalist look of this furniture, which highlights the warmth of raw wood, goes well with the elegant style we expect in contemporary kitchens.

You will have to be very careful with the tones you use, because they can spoil the space. It sounds harsh, but it is so. Usually the wooden furniture They stand out very well accompanied by a flat and you look in lighter tones.

Rustic wooden kitchens

Rustic kitchens have a very cozy look that their minimalist and modern counterparts don't. A rustic kitchen Classic may have a white ceramic sink. You can also have cabinets and furniture in wood (in a lacquer finish or painted in color), including dressers and pantries. A farmhouse table with a nice set of sturdy chairs to match. They may also include kitchen islands.

Integral wood kitchens

One of the latest innovative trends in modern kitchens are the integral ones. Surely many people do not fully understand the difference with other types of kitchens. The answer is very simple and can be found in the furniture and appliances that make up this design.

The basic characteristic of the integral kitchen is that it follows the same line of design, from an aesthetic point of view. This means that furniture and appliances compose perfect shapes without protruding edges. In most cases, appliances are integrated into the furniture itself. You can also find kitchens with furniture integrated directly into the wall.

This trend is marked by another decorative detail that refers especially to the doors of furniture and appliances. The design of both is very similar or the same and in this way the decorations and colors merge, without any highlights or differences.

In turn, the modern element can be intensified with cabinet doors and appliances in the same design. In this way, at first glance, the appliances merge with the furniture.

Advantages of integrated kitchens

  • The main advantage of these kitchens is that it increases the interior space. The appliances are built into the furniture, so we don't have to worry about where to put them. In addition, there are also no empty spaces between the furniture.
  • Another advantage is that it opens up to the horizon when we are in front of a kitchen of this type, especially kitchens that are not separated from the dining room or living room.
  • These kitchens make up a space that is not only larger, but also cleaner and tidier.

Disadvantages of integrated kitchens

  • The main disadvantage of these kitchens is their price, since in reality we pay more money for something that does not guarantee a longer life for the appliances, nor a higher performance. The only thing that guarantees us is a more modern and elegant interior.

White and wood kitchens

White is one of the best colors to accompany wood, as it highlights and emphasizes the natural beauty of this noble material. In this charming space, with independent storage units in white, the worktop made of wood stands out, and the upper cabinet with glass doors, which reveal the beautiful crockery.

Rustic shades of earthy brown are used to give this kitchen a cozy feel. Pretty plants bring the outdoors in, neatly lined up on the windowsill. White painted cabinets and walls maintain the light feel of the room. They combine with warm wooden countertops and aged vintage details.

Kitchens with wooden countertops

Simplicity is often the key to an impressive kitchen. Both dark and light wood countertops can achieve a balanced and stunning design. Here, the kitchen island countertop is a perfect partner for the open shelving, kitchen door and table made of the same material. Neutral walls match cabinets and a traditional double ceramic sink. The curtain under the sink is a wonderfully simple retro touch.

Even if your kitchen isn't rustic, it's possible to introduce a country feel with a wood-topped center island. In this white and natural wood kitchen, an island with a natural wood countertop is a stunning focal point that instantly turns the space into a country kitchen.

Stone walls: use this coating to change your house

Surely you have ever thought about how much you would like to enjoy a rustic decoration or a modern decoration that includes very natural details, such as the stone walls. Dream of a manor house of yesteryear, full of charm. Today in Facades World We aim to help you achieve this dream. So stay tuned for the screen that we are starting right now.

Now you can think of a decoration with this type of material in the living room, the bedroom, the corridors, even if you are not lucky enough to live in an old or original country house. It is amazing how an interior with a stone wall you can change an entire room giving it either a rustic style, but also a modern one. It doesn't have to look like a cold room, in fact you can warm the atmosphere with elements such as plants or objects with powerful colors.

Stone walls

There are many places in the house that can be designed with a stone wall. They are used successfully especially in hallways, but can also be used in kitchens, living rooms or bathrooms, providing a very peaceful and relaxed appearance… let's see.

Benefits of stone walls at home

There are many reasons to choose this type of wall, for example:

  • A natural, earthy look
  • Resistance and simple maintenance
  • Many options, for all tastes and budgets
  • eco-friendly
  • beautiful textures
  • Insulation to noise and temperature

Which stone should we choose?

The great thing about stones is that they are able to complement every style and décor, from contemporary and modern interiors to rustic cabins. All you have to do is choose the right type for your design scheme.

thermal insulation

Stone is a material that can appear cold and austere. However, this effect is only visual. The stones are, in fact, the best natural insulator to maintain the interior temperature. In the summer, they are usually super cool, and in the winter, they conserve the heat generated by the different types of heating.

But that visual coldness that they talk about a lot is quite easy to counteract. Fluffy rugs can be used here and there, decorated with warm and soft fabrics, and by using warm colours, for example red, orange and yellow.

However, let's not forget the possibility that the cool space is sometimes exactly what the person decorating wants to achieve. If that's what you're after, use leather, acrylics, sharp embellishments, and a limited palette (white, black, or gray) to enrich the stark effect in a stone-studded interior.

Color

You do not have to preserve the original color of the stones. If your goal is to create something attractive, you can consider bolder colors and textures that could help you achieve this.

Lighting

You should make sure to install lights in a way that brings out the textures of the stone, and accentuates its beauty and character. You can choose spotlights (top or bottom lights) to suit the shapes, colors, or moods you're trying to achieve.

Small spaces

If the place is small, covering an entire wall with stones will not work well. It could look messy and overwhelming, so we recommend covering only small portions of the wall, which have a similar effect, but are also significantly cheaper.

In the lounge

You can take advantage of the imitation stone decorative panels, which are so common today, and which, by attaching to the original walls, create decorated environments full of style, which, although elaborate, have a very natural appearance. They have the great advantage that nothing needs to be broken, and their placement is easy, cheap and fast.

006
020
016

The best of all is that they not only combine very well with contemporary style, but they also do so very harmoniously with modern style, since the contrast between modern and rustic is gaining more and more ground in the world of home decoration. interiors. You can also take advantage of natural stones, in stores that sell construction products.

008

In the bedroom

This type of decoration adapts to many environments, so you should not think that it will only go well in the kitchen or in the living room, it also adapts to bedrooms. You can shine them with lacquer paint to make them look satiny or leave them matte to make them look more rustic. There is a whole variety of color options today.

007
004
000

In the bathroom

As you can see in contemporary decoration, the rustic style occupies an important place in interior decoration. They look spectacular in bathrooms, especially when mixed with wood or glass. This combination of materials, of different texture, looks fabulous together.

009
005

In the kitchen

They are one of the types of walls that add the most interest to a kitchen, given that they have a very particular texture, which also goes perfectly with furniture or elements made of wood or wrought iron, and even with stainless steel appliances. They give a very comfortable and warm look.

Modern rustic houses - Interiors and exteriors that will amaze you

The modern rustic houses They are more than popular today. More and more people are betting on this kind of decoration, given that it not only gives distinction to spaces, but also has the property of making them very, very welcoming. Stay in today's article because we're starting right now and we'll share several things that will interest you.

Today you will see a great collection of ideas and images of modern rustic houses. In this style, materials and furniture that are characteristic of both modern and rustic decoration stand out, but giving us a very interesting and striking effect in conjunction. Hence, more and more of us are adopting this style of decoration in our homes... let's see.

Modern rustic houses inside

Wood and stone in rustic houses

This may be the most striking feature within the modern rustic houses. If you have an old home, it's important to preserve the original character and architectural details. If you build something new, leave exposed beams, woodwork, or include a stone fireplace.

7

We do not advise you to use untreated wood. Some people prefer them to feel much more in touch with nature, but this wood only spoils more quickly.

For the walls, something that is perfect is the brick decoration, if you cannot get it for some reason or you do not want to tear the wall down, you can use imitation brick wall wallpaper. Looks great.

8

In rural areas of India, families in charge of a blind minor frequently isolate and deprive him/her of the care and attention they provide to their other children; such situation becomes even more severe among lower-caste families, orphans and if the blind child is a girl. modern rustic houses inside, we will see that elements of modern design are perfectly incorporated with more traditional materials such as stone and wood. The rustic side is usually given by recreating the environment, where high ceilings with raw wood beams, pine ceilings, heavy wooden doors and stone walls stand out. While the modern side can be made present through the incorporation of concrete floors, bright pendant lamps, mid-century modern furniture and plastic elements such as a chair. Even colorful and abstract-inspired artwork is perfect for bringing a modern touch to your rustic rooms.

Small tips such as facing elements with different textures are ideal so that the rustic-modern look does not fail in your home; such as contrasting smooth concrete floors against raw stone walls, or shiny stainless steel elements against time-worn wood.

Natural fabrics in rustic houses

The rustic look can be achieved through upholstery, bedding, rugs, and cushions. Add materials such as jute, sisal, leather.

huge windows

Modern rustic houses are generally always open and full of light, so windows are a fundamental element in them, not only because of the light that we just mentioned, but also so that you can see the green around you.

Furniture and accessories in rustic houses

As usual, you will have to take into account all the comforts and style of a modern house. One of the simplest rustic elements that you can adopt in these spaces are tables built with planks worn by time, since they are easy to build and look very, very good in these spaces.

The basis of this decoration is the use of wood and natural ornaments so that a mountain atmosphere can be created with them.. This decoration is greatly appreciated, especially in big cities, where coming home should be the most relaxing moment of the day.

When we talk about decoration styles, without a doubt one of the most famous in the world is rustic decoration. This type of decoration is one of the favorites, among many reasons, because the wood looks beautiful wherever you put it and it also lasts a long time. Over the years, rustic decoration has been used so much that it has become classic decoration.

Rustic furniture

Within the furniture in this style, we can find a great variety, but they all have something in common: natural wood, with its veins and shapes, is the protagonist. The sobriety that the wood color gives them makes them compatible with a huge variety of colors, which makes adopting them in our spaces very simple.

This type of furniture can help us achieve a rustic house with ease, since they get along well in a wide variety of spaces and are perfectly adaptable in bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and even bathrooms, since all kinds of rustic furniture can be found , among which chairs, armchairs, tables and beds stand out, among many other pieces of furniture.

rustic lamp

This type of decorative lights are a very good option for those who seek to create an accent in their rooms through simple and practical forms, creating harmonious and comfortable spaces at the same time.

rustic shelves

Lately, the restoration of construction elements and adapting them to our lives by giving them a new use is becoming fashionable. They usually create a rustic, vintage, old but not classic style.

There is no reason to settle for shelves designed in factories and that perhaps everyone has at home. In addition to being very original and having an exclusivity component, materials can be reused or made to taste with a little creativity.

Let's say that the shelf is made up of two key elements, the shelf (it would be the surface that holds books or any other object) and the fixing that will hold that shelf. as a shelf we can use anything flat, beams, tables, virgin trunks, a compound of branches (as long as it is solid), etc...

For the fixation we have from little angels that cannot be seen, tubes that go inside the surface, fixings that would be below, or this other idea that has caught my attention: pipes.

If on a wall like this they look as good as it will on a wall that simulates or is made of red brick. Creativity is simply on your side and with four notions or ideas you can create magnificent things to leave your memories or books in sight.

33

Natural colors in rustic houses

In a rustic modern home, colors are subdued. For this style, keep the walls white. If you want to opt for this type of decoration, do not hesitate to also include earth colors and terracotta reds as well as oranges.

Facades of houses in natural stone

The houses as we all know have been covered with stone since the beginning of humanity, where the human being sought to cover himself from the inclement weather. But today it is a trend that seems to last many more years since they are very useful and beautiful to decorate.

Modern houses with stone

Until not long ago, covering the walls with stones was only for very few people since its cost was very high. But not only was its price high, but also the cost of shipping to the construction site added even more value. Luckily, thanks to the advances made in this area, we can get affordable prices in nearby places to be able to complete stone cladding.

Facades of stone houses

Difference between natural stone and fake stone

There is something that we must make clear and that is that natural stone will always have more advantages than false. Starting from this base, what we must highlight in the first instance is that its appearance is the greatest advantage of natural stone over false stone. Surely you are wondering why this is so? The answer lies in the passage of time ... Natural stone maintains the colors, shading and imperfections that were achieved over the years by geological pressure.
