On the day of the date Facades World returns with a completely new and updated article, from the hand of Eliana Poplavsky, a modern architecture scholar who is present today to provide us with this collaboration for the web. So we want it to be to your liking and we leave you directly with this beautiful construction site called «Casa Laura».
The Laura House has a modern front facade and open composed of doors with metallic carpentry, and in the center a large wall formed by concrete blocks. To the left, a metal staircase that allows access to the office located on the second floor, and the remarkable element that are the large windows corresponding to the first and second floors. These are linked by their Metal carpentry, forming a single structure. Which make them a good choice because they allow the incidence of sunlight in all rooms, but also in turn gives rise to privacy thanks to the use of lightweight textile curtains.
The Laura House created by the study ARKITITO Architecture, is an economic work of two plants realized in the 2014. The area of it is 250m2 and it is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This is a work constituted by steel and concrete; the blocks are made of cement, the slabs of prefabricated concrete, and the polished concrete floor.
The external electrical installations and their constructive details give an industrial aspect to the house, these resources and materials were chosen for being low cost solutions and accelerate construction processes in this way, since the owners had a limited budget, in addition to providing comfort and well-being.

Interior design of Casa Laura
The arrangement of the environments is directly related to the integration of spaces. On the ground floor we will find the living room and the dining room, which are oriented towards an interior garden located at the back. In the front we have the office, as well as a large kitchen with island that is located next to a central patio and the laundry area. The ground floor also includes a garage that has space for two cars.
On the second floor we can see a second office with independent access, a spiral staircase in the central service patio that allows better access, and two bedrooms, the main one with an independent bathroom.
