Remodeling a house - interior and exterior construction details
Located in a garden district, the house built in the 1960 decade it was recovered and remodeled, maintaining its original characteristics and reorganizing the areas based on the understanding of the client's needs, where it was asked exclusively to assess the external areas of the house, and expand the coexistence spaces for meetings with friends without losing your privacy.
Based on the client's request already mentioned, this home remodeling project in Brazil It is structured in two perpendicular axes that orient the space and demarcate the interventions made in the building, based on two closets and two conjugated pergolas that touch the buildings, creating a relationship of open and closed spaces. The longitudinal axis to the terrain demarcates the relationship of garden in front with the house, from the integration of the room y kitchen in the same environment, in which a bar with direct access to it, and finally to the building, was created.
The transversal axis relates the constructions of the house and the building on the ground, widens the gap between the two, in order to loosen the two elements, enhancing the house, and reconfiguring the construction in a linear way, occupying the entire background of the lot. The pergolas were built with demolition wood of the old roof, and a sector was created on it, with the installation of a wooden deck in a privileged place for the sun to arrive throughout the day.
In addition to all this, the building also has a room expandable, which allows the extension of a 6m² single room in a 15m² suite, starting from the incorporation of circulation. We hope you enjoy the rest of the images that we offer below ...
