Today Facades World, we will highlight how the students of the Utah Graduate College of Architecture and Planning have managed to design a beautiful small house built with recycled materials, we highlight in this house that is self-sustaining by combining several materials in its construction.
At its simple facade, we will find some of the recycled materials used in its construction such as wood, iron beams to support the roof which has a great flow for the protection of the sun, as well as recycled sheets of corrugated metal y ground bricks (adobes)

La simple house, It was also raised from the ground approximately 0.40 centimeters from the ground, this is due to the accumulation of earth sand in the surroundings of the house, since in this way they pass under the house. This is a good solution if your home is in a sandy area.

El interior design This work has autochthonous features of the area, the use of terra colors and geometric designs on the walls, give an account of the style of some Navajo fabrics from Utah where the house is located.
This small house It has a rocket stove, a very necessary element for the inhabitants of the house since it allows to keep it warm in winter, since it was found that the radiant heating obtained through the floor was not necessary. The kitchen has a style that combines the traditional and the modern.


The house has a large social area and three bedrooms, two of them are rotated at about 45 °, and two entrances that include a wooden platform. The distribution is simple, and oriented to be efficient with the climate of the area.
