Eco-friendly minimalist style home design with minimal energy consumption, enjoy Villa di Gioia

Today Facades World we will analyze a single-family minimalist house called Villa di Gioia (Villa de la Alegría), which is built to save energy through the use of self-sustainable home building technologies. So right now we start with this new entry ... here we go!

House of minimalist self-sustainable style

For the design of these so-called passive houses, a correct distribution of the energy-oriented environments is required using appropriate building materials, and also that the house is capable of maintaining energy from natural sources such as the sun. When we refer to the façade, we conclude that it is not just a facade of minimalist style, but also that it is a fAchada of 10mts houses in front approx.

Interior design in minimalist house

The floors of the entire house are made of wood, material that par excellence maintains the floors at room temperature. We will also find as detail a passageway in the second level, and also a bathroom design inside this passive house.

Ways to heat a house and save energy:

1. Controlled mechanical ventilation (VMC), extract the stale air from the interior and allow the entry of clean air from the outside, using a heat exchanger in your house that makes the air transported by tubes to all rooms in the house.

2. Heating by air-air heat pump, allow the energy exchange in a controlled manner between the environment and the system, they cool or heat the environments of a house obtaining the energy of the outer space, air-air heat pump types very used in houses are the air conditioners and acclimatizers.

3. Isolation of windows with several layers of crystals (leaving space between them), this is widely used in hospitals, hotels and other buildings where it is intended to isolate the sounds from the outside and also to control the internal temperature of the houses.

The building materials the house should preferably be from the area, the height of the house plays an important role in the design since with a high ceiling is allowed greater air circulation and natural removal of hot air. In dry and warm climates the use of high ceilings is appropriate, the windows must always allow the passage of the sun's rays in all the seasons and the correct entrance of the ventilation.

We hope that this new informative article will be of great help, consumption is an important issue not only that affects our pocket, but also the environment. Facades World It stays green, trying to be as environmentally friendly as possible!

Natural environment, simple modern house and unparalleled views

It is not a hotel or a camping in one hundred percent of the word. It is attractive for its composition based on a series of domes that encompass many tastes and needs. Starting with the luxury domes suite style, standard lofts and a common use dome.

Es fully operated with renewable energy and other sustainable methods. Food supply is part of this concept using local resources. In addition to all this approach of respect for nature there are other options for those who are enjoying a vacation. The Domes Suite has stove heating with firewood, private bathroom with heating and terrace. The domes of the quadruple suite share these characteristics. On the other hand the standard domes have shared bathrooms without heating or electricity.

The Stonewood house, a rustic and modern construction with spacious rooms

One more week, from the hand of Facades World and our collaborator Eliana Poplavsky, we offer a construction class that will help them a lot in terms of the use of materials, their disposition and, of course, the necessary expenditure to carry it out.

The Stonewood house, from Breathe Architecture, is located in Australia. This is one small work of two floors and roof to two waters that combines rustic and modern, thanks also to the use of wood in an innovative way, in addition to the construction details that make this house original and attractive.

Seeing your modern facade, we will have a first impression that it is built in exposed brick due to the exterior shape of it, however it is natural wood blocks the size of a conventional brick.

Front facade of the Stonewood house, Breathe Architecture.
View of the main exterior Deck through the enclosure panels.

All the interior rooms connect visually with the façade by means of windows, panels and doors that open and allow direct views.

In interior design from the Stonewood house we can find many and varied wooden elements. The wall coverings, the mobile panels and custom furniture, all in a natural wood tone, give a feeling of warmth to the space. And as contrast elements we observe the polished cement floor and mosaics of dark and yellow stones, which they work as a coating on part of the kitchen.

Sector with movable panels and polished cement.

On the first floor has been designed the social area that includes a large room and multimedia room, from both environments you can directly access a large deck located to the left, it is interesting to design two large blocks of wooden beams that cover both environments, these are also built with the wooden bricks above mentioned and steel as a structural element.

                                                                    Low level.
Room with open panels, allowing the view and great lighting.
                                                      Room with closed panels.
View of the room and its movable panels.

To the right is the dining room and kitchen with island and a very original design, located right next to the storage cellar, laundry area and bathroom; and at the end of the house we will find another deck, a small patio and a bicycle shop.

Front view of the large kitchen with island.
Detail of wooden island, and towards the background black and yellow geometric mosaics used as cladding.
                                       Bathroom, ground floor.

The area of the wooden staircase that leads to the second floor is used to place a shelf on the wall, as a way of using space.

Shelving in route of the staircase to the second floor.

On the top floor we will find four bedrooms, one of them en suite with bathroom included; In addition to a terrace that shares the same with another of the bedrooms. The headboard of one of the bedrooms and bedside tables are also made with the same used wood in the rest of the house.

                                                                  Top floor.
Bed headboard and one bedroom bedside table.
Cut of the Stonewood house, Breathe Architecture.
