Casa Híbrida: we show how, through a renovation, it becomes a modern two-story house

On the day of the date, we will analyze a very peculiar design both in Façade and in plans, in the case of a remodeled house which changed drastically when the old design of the front part was perpetuated and added a completely new twist with the culmination and creation of a second floor, thus drastically renewing the style but preserving the harmony of this hybrid housing.

In case you do not have knowledge, we tell you that the hybrid constructions convert the sun into alternating current to run all the utilities of the house. When we encounter cloudy or snowy days, a generator that runs on bio-fuel ensures continuous power supply.

External windows in a grid, harmonizing with the modern structure

This class of housing is intended to be completely independent of the local electrical network. By manipulating its surface for maximum solar exposure and the use of a group of ultra-fine batteries implemented at the base of the slabs.

In the front part of the plot we see how the original facade, which is one level. However, if we go a little deeper into the terrain, we can see how the construction rises in the middle of the house, giving shape to the second level, located as we already mentioned, in the interior part of the land.

Modern facade is shown open to the outside with large windows

Going a bit into the part of the plans, we can see a living room - dining room on the first level, three bedrooms, and finally a terrace with a pool. As we will observe below, in the foreground there is a linear circulation from the main entrance (center left), which despite not being typical, can work perfectly on the routes.

In the second floor plan we will find a second living room with balcony, a bedroom and bathroom. We can appreciate in this plane, that the construction of the second level is one third of the total of the house; Beyond that, this striking remodeling has radically changed the profile of the house, turning it into a ultra modern construction.

Small wooden cabin, we show interiors and how it opens outwards

This small wooden house has a versatile structure that allows it to open outwards in order to have the best views, or to remain virtually closed to maintain the privacy of its guests and control of the sun's rays. Let's discover this amazing construction!

At first glance we can catalog this design as a country house, however, in this cabin have added wooden shutters that can be folded and unfurled throughout the house, thus allowing to have the best views of the outside. On the other hand, we find a huge window, covering all the other part of the house, resulting in a property that integrates perfectly with the exterior.

A modern and versatile exterior design (Zecc Architects)

In this minivan we will find integrated the bedroom with the living room and also the kitchen, for its part the bathroom, is located behind one of the wooden walls which seems to be hidden inside the house, and as regards the between floor , we can say that it can be used as a bedroom for children or guests (choice at the convenience of each family).

Beyond which we can deploy and fold the wooden blinds to virtually close the cabin, we believe that for greater privacy in the part of the bedroom, it is possible to place a wooden plate in the form of a wall, which could easily be manipulated .

                                          Small cottage with folded blinds

Visuals to the forest and a way to show off the unique wood

The interior of the cabin is completely made of wood, the roof with two water shows the wood slats inside which have a neat finish inside the transverse beams, while on the other hand, the floor we can clarify that it is cement polished.

From the dining room and the bedroom we will have unique views towards the forest, an important tip that we give you from Facades World, is that in the construction of your home you always look for the best visuals and based on that you guide your house, you can also analyze the route of the sun to have a pleasant atmosphere inside the house all year round.

Due to the small space, the living room has space only for a sofa, a dining room for four people, a linear kitchen and a toilet. In the only bedroom, a sink and a shower were designed that are hidden behind the wooden walls, then you will see the rest of the images and the plan of this small but very useful house.

Small house Traditional style, rustic exteriors and modern interiors.

Presenting a Design inspired by a traditional environment, combining it with the contemporary style, this small house of 52 square meters presents harmonious and comfortable interiors. That's why in Facades World We think that this beautiful and cozy home can be a great example for our entire community. So without further ado, let's start with it ...

Since architecture of ancient peoples should be preserved, the design of this project preserves this premise. That is why we proposed a compact design with a minimum number of windows, using materials that are existing in the area to create a contemporary structure and keep its relationship with the environment.

Rustic facade with use of stone and wooden doors

As we can see, the most striking and significant of this project is its stone facade and the sloping roof, since its conception was designed does not lose the rural protagonism. In addition to proposing wood to form the doors, a set of small openings was proposed, visually creating a plan of wood and glass, prioritizing the main entrance to the house.

Thanks to the design of the house, the use of new materials and details of construction in a rural space traditional. Despite the use of wood without decorations, concrete inside and large glass surfaces, its different conception of details, it seems that this house has been part of this town since ancient times.

Beyond the fact that the floor of the house is small, a very good use of space was made. So, thanks to the proposed design, it allows future adjustments according to the needs of its residents.

The same style we find in the interior, wood used for the structure, floors and furniture generates contrast and unanimity with gray and dark tones. A totally modern interior with a classic touch, resplendent thanks to the constant income of daylight.

Sensational, square and Minimalist

El minimalist design comes to life in this home, mainly characterized by simplicity. This is how the straight lines and good finishes are the privileged ones, as well as the spacious and well-lit spaces. As we can see in the photograph, the ceiling and walls mostly have a perfect polished concrete. its minimalist facade highlights with nature and has two floors, garage for two cars, living room, kitchen, pool and bedrooms. The rectangular volume is present and helps to define the lighting from the windows.

A prominent feature of minimalist style is the flat roof, in this case the white must be present and as for the walls, the shape can vary but always respecting rectangular lines. Another aspect to consider is the rectangular windows on the second floor. The location of the pool is appropriate to take advantage of all the space.

Minimalist house with two floors, simple facade design and chord colors 1

The rooms are illuminated thanks to the windows that are located both on the first and second floors, which allow daylight to enter without any problem. When placing the small vertical windows on the second floor, it was thought that the spaces are not so visible on the outside, but that they maintain the adequate lighting required by this coquette minimalist housing.

Referring to the constructive details, the defined and openwork designs correspond to generate dimension in the house. As we said at the beginning, they combine polished concrete with full white paint, while we also find a wall design with vertical cavity, giving a totally modern and updated to the construction.

Respecting the line of the minimalist style, the living room and the kitchen have the walls painted in the aforementioned color, the white, as well as the ceiling, thus generating a perfect contrast with the black frames.

Although at first glance we can think that it is a high cost house, the truth is that by taking advantage of each of the spaces and using the white to enlarge the rooms, you can create a house that is quite accessible, both in price and comfort for the family.

Stylish Beach House

Today we present you an amazing and incomparable Beach house. The design is part of its appeal and is attributed to the award-winning architect Peter Stuchbury, who carried out and finalized this project in 2001. We can see its bold, innovative and beautiful facade that perfectly complements the nature of the place. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms whose views are highlighted by the wonderful beaches of North Sydney, Australia.

The lifting roof creates dynamic and functional interior spaces, it is manufactured in Cradle of wood That is why the edges are free and simple, which helps to promote an atmosphere of serenity typical of beach houses of the past. The triangular space of the facade It corresponds to generate a different form of the house and in this crossing the entrance is defined. The two wooden wedges extend in opposite directions, one towards the ocean and the other towards the sky. In addition, the decrease in horizontal windows provides views of the beach.

Beach house with 1 style

As the house is located on a steep hill overlooking the ocean and the rocky coastline of the beaches of North Sydney, a balcony was designed to make the most of the view towards the sea to enjoy the sunrise and sunset.

Lighting is an important part of this Beach house. For the same reason and to take advantage of the natural light, large windows were installed.

In the underground we will find the garage, which has storage capacity for two vehicles. Finishing, the house has two floors in which were placed exterior stairs due to the unevenness of the natural scenery. The delicate garden is the work of the landscape painter Phoebe Pape.

It has pop-out style kitchen and with glass walls that frame the views of the sea and the garden. In the hallway that separates the rooms, a guest area and bathroom. And of course one of the most remarkable things is that we can glimpse the ocean from most points of this house.

Today we present to you a very elegant house located in England, designed by the architect John Schwerdt in 1964. The historical details are appreciable with the naked eye and it has a beautiful country road with panoramic views of the Tillingham Valley. As we can see in the initial image and in those that will follow it, we find a modern style house that presents a facade with privileged views, since in it the natural environment is present and that is one of the main attractions.

The roof is flat with eaves and has a structure of wood lined that helps to create a relationship with nature so that trees can be seen from panoramic points. The brick It is painted white. It has a front entrance, entrance from the kitchen and a garage at the south end of the facade principal. All doors and windows have aluminum frames.

The details are a highlight of this house, since the dressing room and the guest room also emphasize the height of the furniture and windows. On the other hand, the bathrooms have white mosaic tiles and original accessories of the time. The most formal space in the house is seen in the dining room, thus extending the simplicity more precisely in the back entrance or the kitchen, due to the fact that it has a service floor and a boiler room.

Classical Style House Type

This is one 1 country house plant, Argentine style, in the great Buenos Aires. It was built in 2013 by architect Fernando Martínez Nespral, with 185 square meters covered.

It has a very beautiful facade of pure lines, which plays generating movements. Walls of bricks revoked, coated in textured terracotta tones that end in classic field moldings finishing off the heights.
The main door, of wood light color, invites a warm welcome to the living-dining room (incorporated).

Classical Style House Type 1

The covered garage is double and has direct access to the kitchen; comfortable, practical and with an island that also serves as a breakfast bar. The cupboards are several and of white melanin. We chose ceramic floors not so clear, ideal for a high traffic area. The countertops are kept in terracotta tones, but they do not lose luminosity or freshness.

The service room can be used as such, for guests or eventually converted into a workplace, workshop or desk. As for the bedrooms, the house has a dresser suite with bathroom and dressing room and two more rooms with a white bathroom, bright and spacious.

Classical Style House Type 2

Classical Style House Type 3

Now gallery It is accessed from the living-dining room by comfortable double French doors. It is comfortable and covered, with floors of gray ceramics more suffered and easy to clean. Next door is the grill area, with equal access to the kitchen. It is connected to the pool by braces on the grass. Fenced with wire, parantes and shutter type field gate, in clear quebracho wood. Practical, durable and ideal for the weather.

The construction of this house has costs between low and medium, depending on the size with which it is designed. This proposal of classic argentinian country style, with pure lines and nothing overloaded, helps maintain the general simplicity in interior design and decoration. This enables many options of materials, coatings and furniture, always staying within the budget. I hope you find many inspiring ideas in it. We loved it, so then we leave you with the 360 photos of the facade, and as usual, some interior spaces!

Charming Mediterranean House

This Mediterranean style house, was completed in 2015 in Tavira (Portugal), by Atelier Rua arquitectos. It has 286 square meters on 1 floor, divided between a central house and 3 exterior bedrooms. The Mediterranean is inspired by Renaissance constructions on that European coast. Its charm stems from primary designs of Italian, Spanish and French romantic architecture.

The brick-colored tile roof type case is inevitable. Reversed or stucco plaster walls, outdoor seating areas, columns and arched openings, balconies and wrought iron details are also common when there are 2 plants and give them a certain exotic Mediterranean air, which never goes out of style.

Charming Mediterranean House 1

There are also more straight and simple exterior lines, with roof to 2 waters, like the one we present today. This house was remodeled with cost between medium and high, taking advantage of everything salvageable from an old house by the sea in Tavira; Beautiful tourist destination on the Algarve coast in Portugal.

Results of Remodeling
                                                      Results of Remodeling

The result is a versatile house adaptable to many areas, not necessarily the beach. Its central construction has an entrance hall, living room and living room, toilet, kitchen and 3 bedrooms en suite. We find this proposal inspiring and replicable on a smaller or larger scale. Being in a spa, the buildable land was taken advantage of by adding 3 external bedrooms with their small patios. Ideal for visits and to be exploited as lodging in season.

The decoration is simple, with rustic furniture clear of wood and light lines. The interior design maintains the profile of the exterior, adding curved lines in some terminations, such as the chimney. Predominates the white and the raw and neutral colors, accompanying the luminosity and reinforcing its appearance of fresh, cozy and ventilated house.

Decorations with neon lights on some walls bring modernity and surprise, cutting with the extreme serenity of the rest of the proposal, but without losing good taste

Here at the remodeling original pillars were used as separating columns-partition within the environments, a resource that is repeated several times. This proposal full of freshness we loved and we hope that you too!

As usual, we leave them with the photos of the interior and the plan, so that they can not only delight in them, but also use them as an example for future remodeling in their respective homes.

Expandable Ecological House

We present this house in New Orleans (Luisana, USA), which dazzled us for its originality, purity and practicality. It is ideal for any place, but more than anything in delta areas or near rivers and streams with potential floods.

It has 168 square meters on two floors, expandable to 250. It was built in 2008 by the Architect Studio Element, for the Foundation Make it Right. It is made of steel and wood

Facade                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Make It Right was founded by Brad Pitt at 2007. Build homes, buildings and communities for people in need, originally due to natural disasters. All of their projects are LEED Platinum certified and are inspired by the Cradle to Cradle system of Architect Bill McDonough, based on green building.

In 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and left thousands of people homeless. The government relocated them to prefabricated homes, but many were built with toxic materials. That's where Make it Right was born, to rebuild the city with low-cost homes, but healthy and sustainable. For that, architects were invited to comply with the Cradle to Cradle guidelines that maintain that green design can help prevent environmental disasters and promote the economy.

2 Expandable Ecological House

Extended House Option
                                                             Extended House Option

This modern house It fascinated us because in addition to fulfilling all of this, it is expandable by 82 m2 in an economic, easy, fast and tasteful way. Its design is versatile and adapts to different needs. It is sustainable and efficient because -among other things- its facade south is protected from bad weather and achieves natural cross ventilation.

They used steel-safe structures and efficient and ecological infrastructures, building half of the maximum allowed covered volume. The rest begins as a huge and comfortable porch, ready for the expansions of the original house or even for a second home. It serves as a space for family gatherings or with neighbors. In a second stage you can help to increase the value of the property by the expansion, or to earn money from the sale of a second home that can be built at medium cost.

We hope you like it and offer ideas and inspiration!
