Industrial style housing - brick and concrete

Located in a lot between medianeras we can appreciate this Introverted housing towards the public space, leaving in view diverse materialities that define the whole proposal of the project. Then we start with the images so they can better appreciate what we tell them.

The typology appropriately said is located in the center of the land, favoring the opening towards two patios that make green lungs and that structure this industrial style house - traditional. An entrance courtyard separates the garage and a private office, which is linked by a semi-covered entrance plate that culminates in the façade. The other patio is the main one which opens onto a social area.

With regards to functionality in the interior design, the idea was to create an integrated environment that would allow to appreciate the distribution of the house, using a double height that connects the social area on the ground floor, the private area, on the upper floor. The ladder It is the central point which ends linking this idea that we just mentioned.

The imprint regarding the materials used for the construction of this industrial housing was one of the premises that ended up marking the project and that would accompany the various special sequences that the house proposes. Thus, concrete and brick were used as materials that give it warmth both in the facade design as also in its interior finishes.

Nicknamed by its neighbors as "Space Pod", this simple Minimalist style construction acts as a multipurpose space for a young landscape architect in Boulder, USA. Its design is inspired by different black monochrome paintings by Ad Reinhardt and Frank Stella, and among the materials selected to carry it out are metal, glass and concrete.

This project was designed to be built in phases and Space Pod is Phase I. In phase II, what follows is the construction of a single-family residence (which we will show in the plans later). The placement of each volume on the site was driven by the desire to create a private space free of large imposing structures.

The lower level of this minimalist style simple small space It houses a garage and a bicycle workshop, while the upper level is a flexible place to work, play and relax. The composition features subtle textures, perforations, and transparencies which are revealed and visible throughout the day's cycle.

As a novelty we can tell you that in the skin of the volumes of this construction the protagonist is the use of press brick, manufactured in the area of Las Minas, Uruguay. Here are some images so that you can appreciate better.

On the front of this simple housing we will find the kitchen, which at the same time presents the entrances to the house, the pedestrian and the vehicular. A space of intersection and service. In the volume of the middle part we have a flexible social area that transcends the apparent limits. It also has a combination of garage-living-dining room, which allows to form three spaces of different character or merge them into a single interior.exterior space.

The Ficus house - construction with modern facade and garden area

Today Facades World we share the design of a construction with modern facade It has a huge garden area. Once again we invite you to be part of a new trip within our website, are you going to miss it? We start!

The ficus house - construction with modern facade

It is a great family home extended for brothers, who have their own families and parents. In response to the concept and the site, it was determined that a L shaped house design It would allow the necessary privacy between 2 homes and at the same time a common patio could be provided with interconnected social spaces.

Considering the size of the integrated areas in this modern style house, the use of the landscaped areas had to be maximized and layers of roof gardens, bodies of water and shading devices had to be created to provide the spectrum of spaces and nature. the roof gardens reconstitute the landscape area that has been lost due to the building's footprint. In this way, the impact on space is minimized, which reduces solar heat gain and increases thermal comfort.

We can see that the penthouse contains stunning views over the neighborhood, with its own character with gardens on the roof and a bio-pond to create a relaxing atmosphere. We will be able to take into account the images that we are already sharing as well as the images that follow to be able to perform remodeling in our home or possible inclusions of new interior or exterior spaces in our home.

Modern loft design of 4 flats

When it comes to old housesThe most important thing is to maintain harmony and balance between old and new things. And when we talk about creating an "old novelty," it is not necessary to look like new, but that the new part seems to renovate and expand the existing old building.

The choice was building roof As an extension of the house, so all units that face the sky can have their own attic, because this house is intended to be used as a guest house. With the purpose of reinforce the structure for vertical extension, another steel column was installed at the front and another slab was made at the top of the building to support the newly created space for the new extended part.

One was used Lightweight wooden structure to reduce weight total to the existing house and since the installation of the column and the beam at the front, a balcony was built for the new extension using those columns and beams, thus hoping that this unusual form of extension will be another way to develop the old town and can attract people like any other European city.

Modern office made with a container

Today we will find modern offices everywhere, therefore, to satisfy most of our needs for work we can choose to come up with an idea for this space to be in our home. By having our workspace in our house, the benefits multiply, let's start with the images so you can see it better ...

This home office design It was designed by the Canadian architect Randy Bens, who aimed to be able to work in his home and also have an independent space for the staff with whom he works in his studio. A place to hold meetings with clients and contractors, and simply have more space to work.

With this in mind, they analyzed several construction options and decided on a Large steel shipping container, which is 40 feet long, 11.5 feet wide, and 9.5 feet high. The container was installed at the supplier's factory and reached the site in 95% of Finish clad with yellow cedar, a necessary requirement implemented by the city where our architect lives.

Design of country house + plans. Facade red brick facade with gable roof

Today we have received a new entry to Facades World, Its about design of a country house which has a face red brick facade with a gable roof. You can't miss it… let's start!

Country house with red brick facade

On this occasion we will analyze a country house with gabled roof that combines the native style with modern design lines resulting in a beautiful home that will surely provide you with ideas for building the home of your dreams.

We are with some exterior walls made with caravista brick red color, a gable roof covered with flat roof which makes this modern construction adopt the country style. Even so, the house has modern features such as large windows in the social area of the first floor to have the best views to the outside.

Bright interior design with excellent exterior views

Both the shape and the size of the windows allow a panoramic view of the field.

Plan of country house with loft

The construction of the house itself is small, however, it is attached to a pre-existing barn that we will see on the right side of the plan that we offer below:

On the first floor a room with fireplace has been designed, dining room y kitchen, in the private area a bedroom with bathroom, an access hall that also communicates with the rooms located in the attic.

We can directly access the barn through the service area (upper central part). If we do not have extensive land or do not need a large warehouse or barn, the construction would be in the form of "L".

In the attic, two additional rooms with some small openings for lighting and ventilation, which we will access from a ladder located in the central part.

Modern L-shaped houses located in Madrid, glass facade with swimming pool included

We return once again in Facades World with a new entry, today he touches a modern L-shaped house which we will find located in the city of Madrid, Spain. We will also see how this construction has a glass facade and some unique interiors with a pool included… Are you going to miss it? We start!

Modern L-shaped house + Glazed facade

With an important and striking position and orientation, this Modern house with L shape shows interesting finishes and fully functional spaces. The project of this single family construction is bounded by two glass facades and really open. An excellent idea to make the most of natural light and views of the garden.

Despite this glazed finish, the structure of this modern design house It is visually protected with a porch and a pergola to enjoy direct sunlight. Another interesting detail that we will find in this house with facade in L is that its forms have a greater height on the northwest volume, just in the interior part of the house where we will find situated the area of the living room, the dining room and the kitchen (which you will be able to appreciate in the images of the plans).

As expected, these spaces need a higher ceiling height, which makes the first floor, where the bedrooms for children, rises with respect to the northeast wing. The difference can best be appreciated within the rooms. The design of DL + A (study in charge of the project) tries to integrate with the environment, which was achieved in a very fluid way.

House plans with L shape

From Facades World, as always, we hope that this new copy of modern house It is a great help and can generate ideas of all kinds to start a remodeling in their respective homes. Remember to follow us on Facebook, Pinterest y Google +, we are reunited again very soon.
