This work, formerly a typical vernacular model of the first cordon of the Buenos Aires suburbs, is located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Faced with the natural deterioration of time and the need to add a rental housing to his estate, this new project began.
This new construction It was added to the previous one as a complement in terms of its function and its energy consumption. simple and minimalist facade of the work, despite appearing to be one, includes these two houses marking their difference in the style of each, but also resembling a lot.

The access ladder to the new modern housing is located in the garage. The construction system of this new work is light, so as not to jeopardize the stability and structure of the supporting house. The roof of this incorporates a channel that allows to recover rainwater.
The contrafachada shows a series of small openings, in this same climbs the vegetation grown in the old housing. In addition to the rainwater accumulation system, this house has a solar thermal preheating system for both houses.
