We start!

Modern three-storey facade design

We will find a modern concrete facade design, with large matching windows and a spectacular and unique carpentry. A modern three-story construction in which we can use your first plant as an enterprise to develop a workshop or business of our liking or need, and we can also maintain a good interior breadth by achieving an efficient separation of the three plants.

                                        Main facade of three-story house
Main income design on one side of the house, which allows the three levels to be independent
Lighting of the house internally at night

Interior design for three-story house

The interior design is minimalist, the wood has been combined in color to cover some ceilings and floors and the walls in white, the entrance of abundant natural light through the large front and side windows allows to have a bright interior thus giving a sensation of exquisite spaciousness.

Design of the third floor where the central part has a sloping roof covered with wood
Model of one of the bedrooms of the house following the simple style we see throughout the house
Bathroom design minimalist style with blued glass
Design kitchen with island in white

For Design ideas and interior decoration, remember that in Facades World We have our specific section where you will find many unique ideas and decorations to take into account and use in your respective homes.

Plans of the three-story house

                                                                    First floor plan

In the front part of the first floor the garage (01) has been designed (it could be a workshop or a business), a living room (05) and a small kitchen (04), bedroom (03) and bathroom, it is ideal for be inhabited by a couple or as a mini apartment.

The main access is on a side where the stairs that communicate with the second and third floors are also located.

                                                                   Second floor plan

On the second floor as we see is completely independent from the rest of the rest of the house we have three bedrooms (03) each has bathroom (04) included and closets (05); the second floor is linked to the third because the social area is on that floor.

The third floor is a single volume that has room (01), dining room (02), kitchen (03) and bathroom (04), as we mentioned the third floor is complementary to the second level, but making small changes could be converted in independent of this form three departments would be obtained.

Modern two-story house, wooden facade with large crystals give us ideas for construction

Today Facades World we will analyze a modern two-story house where the facade shines by the use of large crystals that allow the abundant entrance of natural light into the interior, we will also see the distribution of environments in the plans to complement the ideas you may need for your own work or remodeling.

Modern facade of two-story house

Modern house facade with wood and large windows - front view

An important element to take into account in the design of a modern house It is the overhang of the roof that allows to control the direct access of the solar rays to the house, the roof joins a wall on the left side. We can see that the design has been oriented towards the right side where the best views are located, but if you have a lot of land with views -only- towards the front, you can still use the design that we have seen in the first photos of the facade, but you should design skylights inside to orient the windows towards these lighting points.

Modern house facade - facade perspective

View of house with pool located outdoors
                                              Side facade of modern housing
Detail of the lines in high relief on the side concrete wall
                                               Modern house illuminated at nightfall

Modern interior design for two-story houses

Beautiful view of the room (with a part of the ceiling at double height) to the outside
Design of concrete stairs and steel handrails
Kitchen design with wooden furniture in natural tone
The rocky environment of the area has been used as part of interior decoration, we can see a window in the dining room that has a stone masonry wall in front

Two-story house plan

The first floor has been used practically for the social area that has a large dining room and a kitchen with island for modern house designed obliquely. The bedrooms and other private rooms are located on the second floor of the house (you will see everything below in the images).

Examples of small one-story houses… But with a lot of style!

Today Facades World We have taken a copy that we know you will love. If we talk about a family home, what many want from it is that it be a space to live in a quiet and cozy way and many times there is also the desire to live away from the big cities, for this lifestyle the single-story houses they are the best option. That is why today we will emphasize this type of construction. Let's start ...

A family home is much more than a concrete or wooden construction, it is the place where the family group lives, it is a space where we can meet, share meals, remember and create new stories. Today we bring you 7 single-story houses, houses that despite being small, have enough space for a small family to live comfortably.

1. Durability over the years

One Story Brick House Facade - Updated Design

When building our house, what we are most looking for is that it be of excellent quality, a construction made with certified professionals will result in a house that has durability, that its structure and its details last in excellent condition for a long time. Bricks are one of the most used materials, both outside and inside they give a warm and stylish feeling, they reinforce the decoration of certain areas and add personality to the construction. An option that is certainly legit.

2. Colors for an illuminated facade

One of the fundamental factors of decoration is color, color illuminates the facade of a house and, inside, it can become a fundamental element of the decoration of the environments. In this case, a white color was used for the facade that illuminates its walls and together with the intense red on the tiles they create a more than interesting dynamism.

                                                                 Bright colors for the facade

3. Innovative facades

As you may have already seen in Facades World, appearances are often deceiving, with the naked eye we can see a facade which would seem to be a museum or some cultural space, but when we get closer we realize that it is a private house with an excellent design. Originality often attracts more than a structure, when we look for a design that stands out we must take into account that it is innovative and original, beyond its dimensions.

                                                              Modern innovative facades

4. Elegance in all its splendor

Privacy is something that we all look for in our home, but if your goal is a Innovative and elegant house you have no reason to give up on an open design with glass walls. This design is especially recommended for the social areas of the house, as we see in the image, anyway without losing the elegance we can gain privacy if this design is complemented by a system of curtains on the walls and windows.

                                                   Elegant facades with large windows

5. Grayish tones

As we mentioned earlier, colors can illuminate the houses in a special way, especially when it comes to the facade. It is important to know how to combine it with a neutral tone, white classics and light tones are always welcome, but especially the gray color is the trend of today, fulfills the same function of being neutral, brings a lot of elegance and is easy to combine.

                                                                  Gray tones for facades

6. Surrounded by vegetation

Gardening is much more important than it seems, as in the inside a house having plants revives the environments and brings freshness, when it comes to the facade a garden, it can restore the life that it lacks, add color and fill it with joy.

El front garden of a house It can be a space that brings a lot of color and joy to the facade. Different types of flowers, colors, leaf shapes and the great variety of green intensity can fill our house with life and give it a fresher look.

                                                                Facade with vegetation around

7 illumination

Un modern house design It can have striking shapes, harmonious lines and perfectly combined colors, but if the lighting is not the right it will hardly look. Correct lighting can make a minimalist style a design that is well appreciated and highlighted.

                                                                   Lighting for facades

We hope that these copies can help them and solve some of their doubts. Since Facades World We believe that sharing one-story houses with the community is something that not only gives dynamism to the web but also represents a style of construction and life that is very much used today, with which type families, couples, and even those who propose and venture to become independent, of course can be installed in this kind of housing.

Remember to follow us on Facebook, Pinterest y Google +, once again we thank you for your attention to each of the copies that we offer every day.

Charming Mediterranean House

This Mediterranean style house, was completed in 2015 in Tavira (Portugal), by Atelier Rua arquitectos. It has 286 square meters on 1 floor, divided between a central house and 3 exterior bedrooms. The Mediterranean is inspired by Renaissance constructions on that European coast. Its charm stems from primary designs of Italian, Spanish and French romantic architecture.

The brick-colored tile roof type case is inevitable. Reversed or stucco plaster walls, outdoor seating areas, columns and arched openings, balconies and wrought iron details are also common when there are 2 plants and give them a certain exotic Mediterranean air, which never goes out of style.

Charming Mediterranean House 1

There are also more straight and simple exterior lines, with roof to 2 waters, like the one we present today. This house was remodeled with cost between medium and high, taking advantage of everything salvageable from an old house by the sea in Tavira; Beautiful tourist destination on the Algarve coast in Portugal.

                                                      Results of Remodeling

The result is a versatile house adaptable to many areas, not necessarily the beach. Its central construction has an entrance hall, living room and living room, toilet, kitchen and 3 bedrooms en suite. We find this proposal inspiring and replicable on a smaller or larger scale. Being in a spa, the buildable land was taken advantage of by adding 3 external bedrooms with their small patios. Ideal for visits and to be exploited as lodging in season.

The decoration is simple, with rustic furniture clear of wood and light lines. The interior design maintains the profile of the exterior, adding curved lines in some terminations, such as the chimney. Predominates the white and the raw and neutral colors, accompanying the luminosity and reinforcing its appearance of fresh, cozy and ventilated house.

Decorations with neon lights on some walls bring modernity and surprise, cutting with the extreme serenity of the rest of the proposal, but without losing good taste

Here at the remodeling original pillars were used as separating columns-partition within the environments, a resource that is repeated several times. This proposal full of freshness we loved and we hope that you too!

As usual, we leave them with the photos of the interior and the plan, so that they can not only delight in them, but also use them as an example for future remodeling in their respective homes.

Small Classic House

It is a pleasure to share the transformation of an old house into a cheerful home. Is remodeling It was made in Minneapolis (USA) by M. Valdes Architects and received a BLEND award at 2011.

It is a classic house in 2 plants, of revoked bricks with details of siding type panels on the sides, a small porch, roofs to 2 waters, very ventilated, bright, and inexpensive.

Originally the house looked sad and subdued. The renovation gave it luminosity and good taste. But it was not a change only in form, but also in substance. Piping and electrical installations in poor condition were replaced. The new materials ensured safety and efficiency in maintenance.

Small Classic House 1                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   The remodeling of the small bungalow was organized by its owners and builders in two stages, during which the original floors were expanded into 2 rooms on the ground floor. The new house includes a comfortable and bright divided environment, with integrated living room and modern kitchen, game room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The kitchen and the front of the house were completed in the second stage of the work.

Small Classic House 3

Remodeled Kitchen
                                                               Remodeled Kitchen

The setting and decoration was very careful. With floating wood floors on the ground floor and ceramics on the top floor. Neutral and serene colors in the range of green and light blue combined with full white door frames. The lighting was taken care of both in the artifacts and the entrances of daylight. The furniture respected the Classic of the house, keeping the light tone of the woods and combining the modern with the old in its right balance.

Its exteriors were not left aside, as stonemasons and a traditional vegetable garden were organized in the front and other hanging ones on one side. Its simplicity does not prevent appreciating the charm and practicality that this proposal represents.

The final effect of the change seems magical: a new spirit in a old house, which offers beautiful details and inspiring ideas.
